  1. Locate the power button. Most likely it will be circular but possibly could be square or oblong.

  2. Push the power button. On most computers, the button will light up when the computer is on.

  3. When the screen has turned on, you must log in. If you are the only user of your computer, once it is turned on it may go straight to the desktop.
